Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Belongg Community Ventures Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Sinceriti platform, including our website at www.sinceriti.co and all related services, features, content, and applications (collectively, the "Platform" or "Service").

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND ALL POLICIES REFERENCED HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Individual job seekers and career professionals
  • Organizations seeking candidates or partnerships
  • Nonprofit organizations and social enterprises
  • Funders, grantmakers, and investors
  • Educational institutions and their students
  • Any other visitors or users of the Platform

1. About Sinceriti

1.1 Platform Purpose

Sinceriti is a blockchain-based platform designed to verify and signal authentic human commitment. The Platform enables users to:

  • Demonstrate genuine, long-term commitment to causes, organizations, issues, and fields of interest
  • Create verifiable proof of dedication through a scarce commitment point allocation system
  • Share commitment verification with employers, funders, fellowship programs, and other stakeholders
  • Discover opportunities aligned with their authentic interests
  • Build a permanent, blockchain-verified record of their priorities and values

1.2 Core Mechanism

The Platform operates on a principle of costly signaling through scarcity:

  • Each verified user receives a limited, finite allocation of commitment points annually
  • Users stake these points on commitment targets (causes, organizations, content, goals)
  • Stakes are recorded immutably on the Polygon blockchain with timestamps
  • The scarcity of points and permanence of records creates authentic signals that cannot be AI-generated or easily gamed
  • Organizations use these verified commitment signals to identify genuinely dedicated candidates

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility Requirements

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Not be prohibited from using the Platform under Indian law or any other applicable jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
  • Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform

Age Verification: By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2.2 Account Creation

Registration Process:

  • Provide required personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Complete identity verification through our KYC process
  • Accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy
  • Create secure login credentials

Identity Verification:

  • Sinceriti requires identity verification to ensure one person, one account
  • You may be required to submit government-issued identification
  • We use third-party verification services in compliance with Indian KYC regulations
  • Identity verification prevents fraud and gaming of the commitment system
  • Your identity information is stored securely and never recorded on the blockchain

2.3 Account Types

Individual User Accounts:

  • For job seekers, professionals, students, and individuals
  • Receive annual allocation of personal commitment points
  • Can apply to opportunities and share commitment verification

Organization Accounts:

  • For employers, nonprofits, funders, and institutions
  • Can post opportunities and review candidate commitments
  • Subject to additional verification requirements
  • Governed by separate organizational terms where applicable

2.4 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • Taking reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized use

We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

2.5 One Account Per Person

Each individual may maintain only ONE active user account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent point limitations, manipulate commitment signals, or for any other purpose is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.

Exceptions: Individuals may have both a personal account and an authorized organizational account representing an employer or entity, provided these are used for distinct, non-overlapping purposes.

3. The Commitment Point System

3.1 Point Allocation

Annual Allocation:

  • Each verified user receives a finite allocation of commitment points annually
  • Standard allocation: 100 points per year (subject to change with notice)
  • Points are divided into four categories:
    • Work (typically ~100 points): Professional interests, career goals, industry focus
    • Life (typically ~100 points): Personal causes, lifestyle values, life priorities
    • Expression (typically ~100 points): Intellectual interests, content engagement, thought leadership
    • Civic (typically ~100 points): Social issues, civic engagement, community priorities

Initial Allocation:

New users receive their first year's allocation immediately upon verification

Annual Renewal:

  • Points are allocated on the anniversary of your account verification
  • Unused points from previous years do NOT roll over
  • Each year provides a fresh allocation

3.2 Staking Mechanism

How Staking Works:

  1. Select Commitment Target: Choose a cause, organization, article, research paper, course, or other content representing what you care about
  2. Allocate Points: Decide how many points from your available balance to stake
  3. Confirm Stake: Your stake is recorded with a timestamp on the Polygon blockchain
  4. Permanent Record: Stakes cannot be modified, deleted, or reversed

3.3 Point Scarcity and Non-Transferability

Critical Design Principles:

  • Points CANNOT be purchased, earned, or obtained through any means other than annual allocation
  • Points CANNOT be transferred between users
  • Points CANNOT be refunded, withdrawn, or returned once staked
  • This scarcity is intentional and essential to the platform's authenticity verification mechanism

Why Scarcity Matters:

The limited nature of points forces genuine choice. If you could stake unlimited points, the system would be meaningless. Scarcity creates a "costly signal" where your choices reveal true priorities.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Platform Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Platform design, layout, and user interface
  • Software, code, algorithms, and technical architecture
  • Sinceriti brand name, logos, and trademarks
  • Calibration engine and commitment scoring methodologies
  • Original content, graphics, and visual elements
  • Documentation and user guides

...are owned exclusively by Belongg Community Ventures Private Limited or our licensors.

Patent Pending:

The core commitment verification system, including the use of scarce annual token allocations recorded on blockchain for authentication purposes, is the subject of a pending Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application (Application Number: PCTIB2025058339). Unauthorized use of this methodology may infringe upon our intellectual property rights.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms of Service
  • You have read and understood our Privacy Policy
  • You agree to be bound by these Terms and all referenced policies
  • You understand the blockchain technology aspects, including immutability
  • You understand that commitment points are finite, scarce, and non-transferable
  • You understand that we do not guarantee employment or funding outcomes
  • You represent that all information you provide is accurate and truthful
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
  • You are at least 18 years of age

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM.
